Joel Carson Robbins

Joel Carson Robbins, 77, of Asheboro, died Thursday, July 25, 2019, at his home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro, with Rev. David Hunt officiating. Joel was born on February 16, 1942, in Randolph Co., the son of the late Carson Robbins and Cleta Spencer Robbins. He was an upholsterer and worked in the furniture industry for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Clara Gearren Robbins of the home; daughter, Sandra Robbins of High Point; sons, Kenneth Robbins and wife Amy of Asheboro, Julian Robbins of the home; grandchildren, Justin Trotter, Tyler Robbins, Lauryn Robbins; and faithful canine companion, "Little Bit".
