Joanne Stutts

Joanne Poole Stutts, 79, of Asheboro, died Monday, May 14, 2018 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. D. Keith Hudson officiating. A private burial will be held at Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery. Born June 18, 1938 in Randolph County, Mrs. Stutts was the daughter of the late Wade and Lula Dorsett Poole. She was a 1957 graduate of Asheboro High School. Mrs. Stutts was retired from Arrow International and attended Oakhurst Baptist Church. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carlton Stutts; and brother, Wade Rush Poole, Jr. Survivors include her sister, Nancy Poole Murray of Asheboro; brother, Johnny Poole of Winston-Salem; special nephew and nieces, Ricky Poole (Angela) of Sanford, Rita Cameron of Sanford, Kathy York (Donald) of Asheboro; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
