Joanne Cox Foster

JoAnne Cox Foster, 74, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Born November 7, 1941 in Guilford County, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Bill and Rena Cox. She was a caring and loving mother, sister and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Garfield Foster Jr.; son, Mark Foster; daughter, Pam Foster; and brother, Larry Cox. Mrs. Foster is survived by her daughters, Kim Foster Brown and husband, Barry, of Franklinville, Carolyn Foster Gross and husband, Mark ,of Asheboro, Cindy Foster Lawson and husband, Phil, of Asheboro; sons, Jason Garfield Foster of Asheboro, Michael Anthony Foster and wife, Marisa, of Greensboro; sisters, Phyllis Cox Lowe and Kay Cox Dziabas, both of Level Cross; and eleven grandchildren.
