Jimmy Lee Yow

Mr. Jimmy Lee Yow, 61, of Fork Creek Mill Road, Seagrove, NC, died Thursday, April 22, 2010. Memorial services will be conducted at later date at the home of his mother. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Yow was born May 28, 1948, the son of Jerome Yow, of Asheboro, and Mary Yow, of Asheboro. He was an avid horseman and horse trainer. He was a hard working man who spent his career in the logging industry. In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter, Patricia Poindexter and husband, Charlie, of Seagrove, Angie Sechrest and husband, Tom, of Ether, Kimberly Yow, of Asheboro; sisters, Becky Underwood and husband, Danny, of Greensboro, Phyllis Jones, and husband, Jeff, of Asheboro; brothers, Doug Yow and wife, Patty, of Asheboro, Dwight Yow and wife, Lorraine, of Seagrove; grandchildren, Shawna Yow, Heather Marley and husband, Stephen, Jason Poindexter, Daniel Poindexter; great grandchildren, Hailey Yow, Tyler Marley; wife, Betty Yow, of Asheboro.
