Jimmy L. Floyd

Mr. Jimmy Lee Floyd, 59, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, October 28, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jeff Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Floyd was born October 19, 1954. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Mr. Floyd is survived by his daughter, Leesa Perdue and husband Joe, of Trinity, NC; sons, Donnie Floyd, Danny Floyd, both of Randleman, NC; parents, Thurman and Reba Hoover Floyd; sisters, Judy Albright and husband, Carroll, of Asheboro, NC, Sandra Willoughby and husband, Jim, of Denton, NC; brother, Gerry Floyd and wife, Rebecca, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Kara, Allie, Braxton, Thurman; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church and other times at the home of his parents.
