Jill Simmons

Jillian "Jill" Danielle Simmons, 38, of Asheboro, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 2, 2017 and is reunited with her father, Kenneth Wayne Simmons in Heaven. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shaun Greene officiating. Jill was born June 13, 1978 in Moore County. She was a good mother, who loved her kids. Jill was a good listener and friend. She was very compassionate and few people knew she was an organ donor. Jill had many internal struggles and she was much stronger then she gave herself credit for. Jill is survived by her daughters, Sierra and Illiana; mother, Sherry Brown and husband, Keith of Asheboro; brother, Jeff Simmons of Bennett; grandmother, Ruby Brady of Asheboro; and several aunts and cousins. She is also survived by her extended family which includes Brian and Sabrina Sheffield; sisters, Pam and Sam; nieces, Chloe, Alyssa, Pacey and Harper. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
