Jesse Ray Tucker

Jesse Ray Tucker, 65, of Denton, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at his home. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Denton, with Rev. Gerald Ward and Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Davidson County, NC on June 17, 1949, Mr. Tucker was the son of the late Jesse Harris Tucker and Lina Gallimore Tucker. He was the owner and operator of Tucker Logging. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Palmer Tucker. Surviving are his daughter, Angela Craven and husband, Phillip, of Denton; sons, Mike Tucker and wife, Jamie, Robert Tucker and wife, Mendy, all of Denton; sister, Barbara Bean and husband, Johnny, of Denton; grandchildren, Harrison Tucker, Jaxon Snider and Rylee Nadine Tucker, all of Denton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro and other times at the home.
