Jerome Ray Snyder passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, September 11, 2016. The memorial service will be held at Central Carolina Community Church in Asheboro, NC from 3:00 – 4:30 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Jerome is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home; his son, Nathaniel Wright, SPC, of Ft. Polk, LA; his daughter, Tiffany Wright of Clyde, NC; his parents James and Nancy Snyder of Biscoe, NC; his sister Vicky Haithcock and husband Lee and nieces April, Melissa and Wanda, all of East Bend, NC; and his brother Joseph Snyder and wife LaDonna of Ruston, LA. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law and a great many god children, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved with all of his heart. Jerome was a truck driver for most of his life. He got his start switching trailers at Klaussner Furniture in his early 20's. He made a career as a local truck driver before becoming an Owner/Operator and later a machinist. There was no vehicle this man couldn't fix. All he needed to do was buy the book and learn how the engine worked and he could fix anything on the vehicle. He loved blue grass music and one of his favorite things to do was to sing with his parents or to listen to live jam sessions. Jerome was a long time member of Central Carolina Community Church (C4 Church) in Asheboro, NC. In lieu of flowers we are requesting you donate to the church in Jerome's name at 1128 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
