Jermaine 'Jay' Marlin

Jermaine Kenneth Marlin Jr. was born September 18, 1993, and he departed this life Sunday, September 15, 2019. Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2019 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Andria Weekes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. He enjoyed taking his family on trips to the beach (which his last trip was Sunday). He cherished his cars and his shoes but most importantly his family. He was the most kind hearted person you could ever meet. He would have given his last to make somebody else happy. His friendship and kindness were truly genuine. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louretha Hazel and Leon Cole, and his uncle, Ajul Cole. Jay leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Cheretha McKoy (Jonathan); father, Jermaine Marlin (Terry); estranged wife, Kayla Harris; fiance, Shaquoria Cockrell; sons, Chace Marlin, Ryland Bryant; stepdaughter, K'Myah Harris; stepson, Khylar Harris; sisters, Jailaiya Pollard, Jada Dowdy; grandparents, Virginia and Claude Turner, Helen Patterson; uncles, Jarvis Person, Fredrick Cole, Leon Cole, Kawaine Cole; aunts, Yvonne Person, Shavonne Person; special brothers, Winston Dison, Tony Bennett, Carlos Gillis, Joshua Baldwin, Xavier Scotton; and a host of cousins, friends, and other relatives.
