Jenny Wood

Jenny Ann Cain Wood, 74, of Randleman, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at The Shannon Gray Rehabilitation & Recovery Center in Jamestown. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Born July 13, 1943 in Surry County, Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel Cain. She had worked at several restaurants including Dixie Jr., and later at Goodyear. She enjoyed watching TV and her dog, "Little Bit." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton G. Wood, her sister, Nonnie Cook, her brother, Max Cain, and her grandson, David Allred. Surviving are her daughters, Bertha Smith, Loretta Atkins, both of Randleman, Renee Wood Capps, of High Point; son, Joseph Wood, of Randleman; grandchildren, Marie Trogdon, Waylon Allred, Franklin Allred, Magnum Allred, Morgan Wood, Luke Wood, Rachel Wood, Simon Wood, Leia Wood, William Atkins, and Rebekah Atkins, Mechkayla Capps, Skylar Capps, Jazmyn Capps; and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
