Jennifer Leigh Schober, 42, of Asheboro, gained her angel wings on Monday, April 19, 2021 at High Point Medical Center after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Rushwood Church with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. Jennifer was born on December 19, 1978 in Harris County, TX. Jennifer was the daughter of Cathy Schober Briles and the late Frank Jacob Schober. Jennifer was an employee of Otho's Pest Management prior to her passing. She was a graduate of Asheboro High School Class of 1997, Randolph Community College, and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She worked in business management most of her life. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her son, Gabe, her daughter, Jordan, and her grandson Jacob. She loved going to the beach and soaking up the sun. She also loved going swimming and shopping. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Jacob Schober; grandfather, Calvin Franklin Brower; and the love of her life, Jacob Anthony Pruitt. She is survived by her daughter, Jordan Jacob Leigh Pruitt and fiancé Chris Tyson and grandson, Jacob Tyson of Asheboro; son, Gabriel Ryan Hancock of the home; mother, Cathy Schober Briles and husband Don of Trinity; and grandmother, Dorothy Brower of Trinity. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home. Recommended Covid-19 guidelines will remain in force. Jennifer and her family would like to let the Asheboro community, Team Jennifer, and the Asheboro High School.
