Jennifer Crystal Beane

Jennifer Crystal Lax Beane, 60, of Asheboro, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at New Center Christian Church, Seagrove, with Pastor Jonathan Burris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Jennifer was born in Miami, Florida on May 31, 1960. Her family and her pets were her greatest joys. Jennifer enjoyed coon hunting with her husband, mowing the yard, working in the garden, and helping with anything on the farm, including driving the tractors. Jennifer also enjoyed cooking holiday dinners with her family and spending time with her grandbabies. She had a smile that would lite up a room and she will be missed. She had worked at Energizer and Burlington Industries. She was a member of New Center Christian Church and she loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Jarrell Lax and her sister, Barbara Maness. Surviving are her husband, Dwaine Beane of the home; daughter, Alysha Greene of Albemarle; son, Edward Greene of Sneads Ferry; stepdaughters, Devon Bryson (Travis) of Bennett, LeChelle Smith (Randy) of Coleridge; mother, Betty Trantham of Ether; sisters, Teresa Chriscoe of Ether, Wanda McNeill of Seagrove; grandchildren, Kaileigh Green, Anna Green, Kennedy Smith, Kyle Smith, Nicole Smith, Eli Bryson, Ryleigh Bryson; and great grandchild, Ellanora McNeill.] The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021, prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to New Center Christian Church, Building Fund, 6448 New Center Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all her caregivers.
