Ms. Jennie "Babe"� Jeanette Parson, 67, formerly of 9050 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Randleman, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010, at St. Peter United Methodist Church with the Rev. Liston Sellars officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born on February 27, 1943, in Randolph County, Jennie was the daughter of the late George and Virginia Walden Parson. She retired from United Brass Works after 35 years and she was a member of St. Peter United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Terrence Lemar Parson and wife, Ashley, of Greensboro; stepfather, Phillip Belo, of Randleman; sisters, Phyllis Balfour and husband, Norman, Gwen Green and husband, Roger, all of Randleman; brothers, George Parson, Jr., of Asheboro, Phillip Parson and wife, Griszella, Tyron Belo, all of Randleman, grandchildren, Brittney Harris, Terrence Lemar Parson, Jr., Michael Parson, Nelson Parson, Ella Parson, great grandchild, Ayoney Harris; uncles, Vassar Walden, of Plainfield, NJ, Kenneth Walden, of Randleman; aunts, Ophelia Parson, Greensboro, Ida Craig, of San Francisco, CA, Louise Johnson, Lois Hayes, Mary Jarrells, all of Randleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm "� 2:00 pm Monday, November 15, 2010, at St. Peter United Methodist Church. At other times, the family will be at the home.
