Jeffery Lamuel Dix

Jeffery Lamuel Dix, 49, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at his residence. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Dix was born February 10, 1962. He was the son of the late Anne Jerline Clifton Varner. He had worked at Klaussner Furniture and attended Hill Top Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Dix is survived by his sister, Susan Jenkins, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Terry Lee Dix, of Albemarle, NC, Ricky Lynn Dix, of Asheboro, NC, Larry Varner, of Ramseur, NC; and best friend, Roy Williams, of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Susan Jenkins, 731 Old Liberty Road, Apt H., Asheboro, NC.
