Jeff Brown

Mr. Jeffery Martin Brown, 51, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at UNC Hospitals. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marty Grainger officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Brown was born November 20, 1961. He ran his own landscaping business in Jamestown, NY prior to moving back to Asheboro. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with his grandfather and his cat, Isis. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Johnson and husband, Darrell, of Asheboro, NC; father, Dallas Brown and wife, Nancy Geneal, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Jennifer Phillips and husband, Jim, of Wake Forest, NC, Christina G. Brown, Audrey M. Brown, both of Midlothian, VA; brother, Tony Brown and wife, Melinda, of Asheboro, NC; and grandfather, Huel A. Kinney, of the home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
