Jeanne Dodge Donovan

Jeanne M. Oswald Dodge Donovan, 94, of Randleman, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2017, at St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was a member. Rev. Doug Hefner will officiate. Born March 8, 1922, Mrs. Donovan was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Oswald. She grew up in Syracuse, NY, the youngest of nine children, she graduated from North High School. Mrs. Donovan was a charter member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Syracuse, NY. She was married to Frederick M. Dodge for 33 years, prior to his death, she later married James Donovan, who also preceded her in death after 30 years of marriage. Mrs. Donovan is survived by her sons, Frederick M. Dodge, II and wife, Lynn C. and Charles Dodge and wife, Lora; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 505 S.
