Ms. Shirley Jeanette Solesbee, 67, of 733 McDermott Street, Asheboro, NC, went home to be with God, Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Randolph Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2012, at To God Be The Glory Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Danny Jarrell, Pastor Bo Wansley, and Morris Nance officiating. Ms. Solesbee was born December 6, 1944 in Murphy, NC. She was always a hard worker and worked at Rampon until it closed. She was then employeed at Unifi in Archdale until she became disabled. Jeanette loved to attend church and loved being a mother, but most of all she loved being a grandmother to her only grandchild. She was preceded in death by her sister Vicki "Jody"� Lambeth. Ms. Solesbee, is survived by her parents, Garland and Thelma Cole, of Asheboro; daughter, Lee Ann Winslow, and fiancé, Greg, of Spring Hope, NC; sons, Sean Harris, of Asheboro, NC, William C. Gunter Jr., of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Wanda Taylor, and husband, George, of Greensboro, NC, Gwen Freeman, and friend, Damaz Diaz, of Ramseur, NC; brothers, Carson Hurley, and friend, Tammy, of Summerfield, NC, James "Soapy"� Solesbee, of Asheboro, NC; grandchild, Travis "T.W."� Winslow, of Asheboro, NC; best friend, Patsy Barnes, and husband, Tommy; uncle, Dannie Teague, and wife Dot, of Asheboro, NC, 7 nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
