Janice Russell Kidd

Janice Russell Kidd, 71, of Denton, died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklinville with Rev. John Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A native of Davidson County, Mrs. Kidd was born June 30, 1944 to the late James Albert and Louise Hedrick Russell. She was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Kidd was a retired beautician and had been employed at Walmart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kidd and her brother, Von Russell. Mrs. Kidd is survived by her son, Corey Kidd of Denton; two daughters, Velvet Chaffin of Climax, Ann Trogdon of Franklinville; sister, Marilyn Hancock and husband, Kermit of Denton; and grandchildren, Kristen,Kayla, Katelyn and Megan Kidd.
