Janet Murchison

Janet Carol Brim Murchison, 69, of Julian, NC, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center . Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 30, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC, with Pastor Tommy Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Murchison was born October 26, 1946, the daughter of the late John Henry and Annie Ruth Auman Brim. She was a sweet, loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed fishing with her husband and sewing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murchison was preceded in death by step daughter, Bre King, and her brothers, Lewis Brim, Eugene Brim and Larry Brim. Survivors include her husband, Lynn Murchison, of the home; son, Delacy Lynn Murchison, Jr., of Seagrove; daughter, Angela Murchison Jarrett and husband, Jimmy, of Liberty; step daughter, Cameron Leigh Proctor, of Franklin, NC; sister, Diane Thornburg, of Asheboro; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her two "babies", Toby and Rebel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
