Mr. James Clifton Webster, Jr., 69, of 1757 Sunny Lane, Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Heartland Living & Rehabilitation, Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Connie Weaver and the Rev. George T. Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. A native of Guilford County, Mr. Webster was born June 25, 1940, the son of the late James Webster, Sr., and Lois Culler Webster. He was a graduate of Greensboro High School, Class of 1959, and was retired from AC Corporation in Greensboro. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Doris Stockner Webster, of the home; daughters, Linda Albright and husband, Franklin, of Siler City, Jean Cherpak and husband, Bill, of High Point; stepdaughter, Cynthia Baughan, of Morrisville; son, James Thomas Webster and wife, Maritess, of Greensboro; stepson, Kenneth Baughan and wife, Scarlett, of Asheboro; sister, Judy Hyatt and husband, George, of Sperry, OK; nephew, Josh Hyatt, of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Kimberly Walker, Sherry Smith, Brittney Cherpak; step-grandchildren, Nathan Chefetz, English Baughan, Tabor Baughan, Eric Hockett; great grandchildren, Sabrina Smith, Logan Smith, Kara Walker and Riley Cherpak. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 7 until 9 pm on Friday, June 25, 2010, and other times at the home.
