James Paul Reeder

James Paul Reeder, 87, of Seagrove, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Universal Healthcare in Ramseur. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Ulah Church of God with Dr. Thurman Jenkins, Rev. Alex Shelton and Rev. Matthew Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Moore County, Mr. Reeder was born December 12, 1927 to the late Alfred and Ada Owen Reeder. He was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Ulah Church of God. He loved the Lord, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie; sisters, Edith Yow, Rachel Hancock, Ruth Paige; brothers, Wilbert, Alvia, Rev. Lewis Reeder, Tracy, Dr. Alton Reeder, Lacy; and a son-in-law, Roger Bean. Mr. Reeder is survived by his daughters, Joyce Bean of Seagrove, Brenda Morgan and husband, Michael of Kingsport, TN; son, James "Jimmy" Reeder and wife, Joyce of Robbins; sister, Dot Stone of High Point, brother, Ed Reeder o f Seagrove; grandchildren, Chris Bean, Terry Bean, Kerry Bean, Christie Kleinmann, Sarah LaDuke; and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
