James Mcdowell

Mr. James Thomas McDowell, 34, of Denton, NC, died Saturday, February 4, 2012. A celebration of James' life will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, at the VFW Post #9418, 908 Worthville Road, Randleman, NC. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mr. McDowell was born July 19, 1977. He was the son of the late Kathi Cooper McDowell. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Mr. McDowell is survived by fiancée Samantha Friday, of the home; sons, James Adam McDowell and Christopher Russell, of the home, and Austin Turner, of Ramseur, NC; daughters, Hannah Brewer, Krystal Brewer, Katy Brewer, all of Archdale; sister, Shannon Adkins Moody, of Staley, NC; brothers, James Oscar Adkins Jr., of Climax, NC, Ricky McDowell, of Franklinville, NC, Shawn McDowell, of Archdale, NC, Richard Palmer, of Franklinville; niece, Zandra Moody, of Staley, NC, Haylee Palmer, of Franklinville; nephews, Trevor Moody, of Staley, NC, and Trevor McDowell, of Archdale, NC; and uncle, Tim Cooper, of Archdale, NC.
