James Richard Manning

James Richard Manning, 74, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at his residence. Friends and family are invited for a celebration of life service at the home of Darlene and James Pinard, that will be held at a later date. A native of Middlesex, MA. Mr. Manning was born July 16, 1940, the son of the late Austin James and Mary Ellen Grace Manning. He was retired as a truck driver and was Baptist. In additon to his parents, Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra L. Manning; daughter,Gloria M. Anderson; and granddaughter, Melissa Woods. Survivors include his daughters, Veronica M. Woods and husband, James II, of Asheboro, NC, Michele M. Desilva, of New Bedford, MA, Darlene M. Pinard and husband, James, of Asheboro, NC; step-son, Steven Golden, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Mary M. Lessard, of Tynsboro, MA, Teresa M. Ferriera, of Salem, NH; brother, Austin J. Manning and wife, Ann, of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Mark Anderson and wife, Rita, Jessica LeDuc and husband, Travis, Nancy Miller, David Manning, Krystle Rutledge and husband, Shawn, James Woods and Crystal Pinard; 11 great-grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Nancy Manning.
