James William Bullard

Mr. James William Bullard, 65, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Lilly and Rev. Terry Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Anson County, NC, Mr. Bullard was born January 6, 1946. He was the son of the late Joseph Lindsey Bullard and Clara Bell Threadgill Bullard. He was retired from Sara Lee and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Bullard, and his faithful companion, "Chewy". Mr. Bullard is survived by children, Amanda Soto, Angela Garcia, James William "Junior"� Bullard, Jr., James Anthony "Bubba"� Bullard, all of Asheboro, Carla Morton, of Randleman, Hank Overman, of the home; sisters, Clara Mae Wilkerson, of Asheboro, Mary Grace Caulder, of Wadesboro, Peggy Bullard, of Asheboro; brother, Charlie Bullard, of Asheboro; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his faithful companion, "Beegee"�. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home, and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
