Jack Flynn

John James "Jack" Flynn, 69, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, January 9, 2015 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born August 30, 1945, in Long Branch, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Beatty Flynn. A longtime resident of Keansburg, NJ, Jack moved to Asheboro, NC, in 2005. Jack's first love was his family. He enjoyed fishing, boating and family vacations. He also enjoyed working with his hands and helping people. Jack was always ready with a bad joke. Jack is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria Flynn, of the home, daughters, Ronnie Cama Casey and husband, Steven, of Asheboro, NC, Kelly Scott and husband, Robert, of Millstone Township, NJ, Christine Lennon and husband, Jimmy, of Asheboro, NC, sisters, Maureen Zayac, of Saco, ME, Kathy Flynn, of Newton, NJ, brother, Brian Flynn, of Newton, NJ, grandchildren, Randi Hill, Nicholas Cama, Brooke Scott, Sarah McDonald, Jimmy Lennon, Ryan Lennon, Patrick Lennon, Jillian Scott, Mackenzie Scott, great grandchildren, Marlee Cama, Layna Smith, mother-in-law, Agnes Taylor, of Middletown, NJ, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his loving companion, "Bum". The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, NC.
