J. Lewis Williams

Mr. Jesse Lewis Williams, 82, of Seagrove, NC, died Friday, November 29, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at New Center Christian Church, where he was a member, with Pastor Jonathan Burris, Rev. Jimmy Shirlen, and Pastor Jason Frank officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Jesse Williams and Eula Parks Williams. Mr. Williams served in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Eddie Dean Williams and sisters, Shirley W. Kearns, Yvonne Williams, and Margaret Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Margie S. Williams, of the home; daughters, Helen W. Craven and husband, Larry, of Ramseur, Margie W. Wallace and husband, Bobby, of Carthage; son, Tony L. Williams and wife, Sharon, of Robbins; sisters, Betty W. Satterfield, of Troy, LaRue W. Cook and husband, Larry, of Denton; brothers, Vance Williams and wife, Peggy, of Seagrove, T. H. Williams and wife, Elizabeth, of Asheboro; brother-in-law, Ray Kearns, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Robbie Williams and wife, Mary, Savannah Wallace, Robert Wallace; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, December 2, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
