Ivey Stamey Dunn

Ivey Stamey Dunn, Jr., 75, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Conley and Rev. Harold Hammond officiating. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Dunn was born August 29, 1940 to the late Ivey and Gary Dunn. He was a member of Central Falls Baptist Church and had worked at BB Walker Shoe Company for 25 years. He was retired from Mid-State Plastics. Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife, Sandra T. Dunn of the home; sister, Doris D. Hinshaw and husband, Larry of Asheboro; niece, Donna Nance and husband, John of Asheboro; nephew, Thomas Hinshaw of Asheboro; and great nephew, Jacob Nance. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home.
