Irene Davis

Mrs. Helen Irene Hussey Davis, 81, of Seagrove, NC, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Harry and Rev. Larry May officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove. A native of Moore County, NC, Mrs. Davis was born November 13, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Edgar Hussey and Pearl Hussey Hussey. She attended Bethel Church of God and was retired from Lucks, Inc. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a great inspiration to people. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Hussey, and brothers, John D. Hussey, Pete Hussey and Levis Hussey. Mrs. Davis is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Marvin Davis, of the home; daughters, Marilyn Kinley and husband, Kenneth, of Seagrove, NC, Sheila Davis, of Asheboro, NC; brother, Wayland Hussey and wife, Faye, of Robbins, NC; grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Brandin Davis and wife, Anna, Kimberly Booth and husband, Robbie, Presley Tahirkheli; great grandchildren, Natalie Booth, Grayson Booth, Brayden Davis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home.
