Irene Brown Bell

Mrs. Helen Irene Brown Bell, 86, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Flag Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Queen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Bell was born November 9, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Gurney Everette Brown and Nellie Rozelle Luck Brown. Mrs. Bell retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation, enjoyed gardening, and loved animals. She was a member of Flag Springs United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Harrison Bell; brother, William "Billy"� Brown; and sister-in-law, Peggy Latham Brown. Mrs. Bell is survived by her brother, Winfred Brown, of Asheboro, NC; sister-in-law, Betty Sue Brown, of Asheboro, NC; brother-in-law, Max Bell, of Asheboro, NC; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the service in the Christian Life Center at the church. Memorial may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
