Iola Burns

Mrs. Mary Iola Russell Burns, 87, of Asheboro, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Morehead Memorial Hospital, Eden, NC. A memorial graveside service is scheduled at 11:00 am Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Burns was a native of Randolph County and was a lifelong member of West Bend United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Golden Russell, and brother, Hoyt Russell. Mrs. Burns is survived by her son, Gene Burns and partner, Ezra Roberson, of Eden, NC; brother, Chauncy Russell, of Stokesdale, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.
