Inez Cole

Inez Martin Cole, 85, of Asheboro, formerly of Eagle Springs,passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Holly Grove Church, 2520 NC Hwy 211, Eagle Springs, with Pastor Danzell Spencer officiating. Born on June 14, 1934, in Moore County, Inez was the daughter of the late David and Hattie Martin. She was retired from Spring Mill in Biscoe and was a member of Holly Grove Church. She enjoyed traveling and dancing the "Peppermint Twist". In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Martin; companion, John Henry Malloy; six brothers and six sisters. Surviving are her nieces, Eva Janet Hamlin of Asheboro, Pat Cagle of Biscoe, Dianne Martin of California; nephew, Michael Martin of Boston, MA; great nieces, Selena "Thunk" Covington, Paula "Bun" McCaskill; great nephew, Carvon Hamlin; and a host of cousins and friends.
