Inez Burcham

Inez Mae Swaney Burcham, 76, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at her home Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Shook officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born August 4, 1941 in Randolph County, Mrs. Burcham was the daughter of the late Claude Edward Swaney, Sr. and Bessie McDowell Swaney. She retired from Arrow International after 32 years of service. Mrs. Burcham was a volunteer at the rehab department at Randolph Health, where she was recently recognized for 2000 hours of service. She loved her family and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burcham was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Burcham; brothers, Dempsey Swaney, Claude Swaney, Jr. and Henry Lee "Chub" Swaney; and her sister, Trella Beane. Survivors include her daughters, Belinda Davis (Alva), Debbie Alcon, Sharon Burcham Oldham, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Carlie Davis of Taylorsville, Eric Davis (Angel) of Sophia, Jo Alcon Dingess (Howie) of Thomasville, Zach Alcon (Torie) of Asheboro; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Davis of Asheboro, Shian Davis of Sophia, Jaxon Davis of Asheboro, Brantley Davis of Sophia. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
