Imogene "Jean" Marley

Imogene "Jean" Fogleman Marley, 80, of Asheboro, died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Cape Fear Memorial Park in Southport. Born in Randolph County, NC on January 24, 1936, Mrs. Marley was the daughter of the late Hall William Fogleman and Rebecca Ozella Macon Fogleman. She was retired from Centel Telephone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Marley and her brother, Lewis Fogleman. Surviving are her daughter, Lou Jean Owens Cross and husband, Tim, of Denton; brother, William Fogleman and wife, Nancy, of Asheboro; sister-in-law, Barbara Fogleman, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Michael Cross, of Randleman, Sherah Davis and husband, Brian, of Denton; five great-grandchildren; and special friend and caregiver, Kathy Davis. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barbara Fogleman and Kathy Davis for all the love and support given to Jean during her illness.
