Hideko Brewer

Hideko "Heidi" Igarashi Brewer, 75, of Randleman, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Born August 20, 1940 in Tochigi-Ken, Japan, Mrs. Brewer was the daughter of the late Kasaburo and Naka Igarashi. Her hobbies included anything related to crafts such as crocheting, knitting, sewing, needlepoint and quilt making. Mrs. Brewer also took pleasure in gardening, traveling and volunteering in her community. She was a animal lover and enjoyed having pets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wayne Brewer. She is survived by her son, Russell Wayne Brewer, Jr., of Randleman;, brother, Akio Igarashi; and grandsons, Cameron Brewer, Corey Brewer.
