Helen Hill Jarrell

Mrs. Helen Opal Hill Jarrell, 91, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at Woodland Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at West Bend United Methodist Church Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mrs. Jarrell was born July 6, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Nathan Hill and Sarah Johnson Hill. Mrs. Jarrell is survived by her daughters, Patricia Poole, of Randleman, NC, Marie Langley and husband, Larry, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Larry Jarrell, Gilbert Jarrell and wife, Kitten, all of California, Phillip Jarrell, Vance Jarrell, both of Asheboro, NC; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
