Helen Greene

Helen McPherson Greene, 81, of Asheboro, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Thurman Williams officiating. Born March 23, 1935 in Randolph County, Mrs. Greene was the daughter of the late Esley and Hazel Dunning. She retired from Acme-McCrary, but also worked as a meter maid for Asheboro Police Department and was a homemaker. Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, Billy Greene of the home; her uncle, Virgil Brown; and several cousins, including Orvel Brown. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pam Riddle and Orvel Brown for all their help and care.
