Helen Gallimore

Helen Hunt Gallimore, 82, of Trinity, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Hauk and Rev. Barry Wall officiating. Burial will follow at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born October 27, 1934 in Davidson County, Mrs. Gallimore was the daughter of the late Willie and Betty Hunt. She was retired owner/operator of Gallimore Meats Inc., and Colonial Meat Service. Mrs. Gallimore attended Mountain View Independent Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her family to the beach and the mountains. Mrs. Gallimore loved her family and her great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy E. "Junior" Gallimore, Jr.; sisters, Laurestine Hunt, Lola Hoover and Maxine Kindley. Mrs. Gallimore is survived by her daughters, Sandra Snider and husband, Michael of Trinity, Kathy Smith and husband, Aubrey of Asheboro, Debbie Foust and husband, Neal of Asheboro; sisters, Barbara Burton and husband, Hillis and Ruth Ann "Ruthie" Gunter, all of Thomasville; brother, Jimmy Hunt and wife, Judy of Thomasville; grandchildren, Amy Kindley, Chad Smith and wife, Jamie, Todd Snider and wife, Tonya, Lori Carter and husband, Wayne, Kelly Hill and husband, Brad, Scott Smith and wife, Leah; and great-grandchildren, Kolby Kindley, Landon Smith, Maddison Carter, Noah Smith, Logan Carter, Adam Smith, Kamden Carter, Wyatt Smith, Kyndal Kindley, Keaton Hill, Kinslee Smith and Oakley Smith. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Debbie Foust.
