Hazel Seabolt Frye

Mary Hazel Seabolt Frye, 93, of Asheboro, died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kari Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC on November 25, 1923, Mrs. Frye was the daughter of the late John Randolph Seabolt and Bertha Whitley Seabolt. She was retired from Pinehurst Textiles and was a member of West Bend United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frye was preceeded in death by her husband, Edward Frye; sister, Louise Snider; and brothers, Clyde Seabolt, John Seabolt, Jr. and Howard Seabolt. Surviving are her daughters, Elaine Caudill (Gene) of Snow Camp, Janice Mills (Eddie T.) of Asheboro; sisters, Mildred Cromer, Doris Hoover, both of Asheboro; brothers, Clarence Seabolt (Edith), Reid Seabolt (Peggy), all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Sherri Lewis, Ben Mills, Adam Mills (Mandy), step grandchild, Tammy White (Doug); three great-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and one step great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to West Bend United Methodist Church, P.O.
