Harvey Leach

Harvey A. Leach, 72, of Seagrove, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2016, at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Bethel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born December 2, 1943 in Randolph County, Mr. Leach was the son of the late David and Adeline Leach. He was retired from Klaussner Furniture and was a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Leach was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Scotton, Sarah Leach, Stella Brady; brothers, James Oliver Leach and Dewey Clinton Leach. He is survived by his son, Harvey Lee Leach of Asheboro; former wife, Ola Mae Leach of Asheboro; sisters, Inola L. Jones (William) of Statesville, Ottie Shamburger of Statesville; brothers, George Raymond Leach of Seagrove, David Vernon Leach, Jr. of Asheboro; grandson, Michael C. Morrison; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service at the church.
