Harold Lee Sharp

Harold Lee Sharp, 75, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, with Pastor Lois Johnson officiating. Born in Randolph County, NC, on August 9, 1943, Harold was the son of the late Harold Leander Sharp and Gladys Wright Sharp. He was a brickmason and he served in the US Marine Reserves. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and woodworking. Harold was a humble hardworking man who loved the Lord. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Hughes and brothers, John Sharp and Tony Sharpe. Surviving are his wife, Hilda R. Sharp, of the home; daughter, Shannon Smith and husband, Anthony, of Asheboro; son, Roger Hughes and wife, Deborah, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Brandon Hughes, Trenton Smith and Garrett Smith; stepsister, Laura Pardue and husband, David, of Asheboro; nephews, Jesse Sharpe and Jason Sharpe. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
