Harold D. Sexton

Mr. Harold Dean Sexton, 34, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve Chipps officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mr. Sexton was born April 20, 1977. He worked as a truck driver and was a beloved husband, father, and brother. He also enjoyed deer hunting. Mr. Sexton was the son of Harold Dean Bowen and Rhonda Harris. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Faye Bowen; grandfather, James Sexton; stepfather, Mike Harris; and father-in-law, Warren Sanders. Mr. Sexton, in addition to his parents, is survived by his wife, Anita Sanders Sexton, of the home; daughter, Karina Jaylea Sexton, of the home; son, James Parker Sexton, of the home; sisters, Angel Bowen, of Asheboro, NC, Tabitha Allred, of Robbins, NC, Beth Harris, of Asheboro, NC, Scottie Bowen, GA, Marti Maness, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, James Bowen, of Asheboro, NC, Jonathan Bowen, of Asheboro, NC; grandmother, Edna Sexton, of Asheboro, NC; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Ratliff and Margie Corbin; and mother-in-law, Pauline Sanders. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the family.
