Gwen Williams Bost

Gwen Denise Williams Bost, of Asheboro, died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Balfour Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Gwen was born May 3, 1959. She was employed at Randolph Hospital and she had worked for over 25 years at Sara Lee. She graduated from Asheboro High School in 1977. Gwen was an avid bowler and she loved her rose garden. She was a loving mother and a good cook. Surviving are her daughter, Shelly Leibel, of the home; son, Robert Leibel, of the home; mother, Pauline Williams, of Asheboro; sisters, Carol Taylor, of Asheboro, Donna Brown, of Seagrove; brother, Bobby Williams, of Asheboro; husband, Bill Bost, of Asheboro; and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, November 1, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Shelly and Robert's father. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
