Gregory Wayne Garner, 45, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Matt Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Farmer United Methodist Church Cemetery. Greg was born on April 24, 1976, in Davidson County, NC. He was employed with Falling Oak Timber Company. He enjoyed fishing, working on his car and traveling to the beach. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Kaye Seamon, and his grandson, Waylon Garrett Snow. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Garner of the home; five daughters, one son, and 15 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home.
