Grady E. Davis

Grady Eugene Davis, 61, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, January 21, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Marietta, GA., Mr. Davis was born May 11, 1955, the son of the late Earl and Aline Wilkins Davis. He had worked at Klaussner Furniture for 23 years. Later he worked at the YMCA which he really enjoyed since he was a "people person." He never met a stranger. He made friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was a very devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family, especially his grand kids and his four dogs. He also loved to attend NASCAR events with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Davis, of the home; daughters, Clara Aileen Deloya Hernandez, Tabitha Kay Lake, all of Asheboro; stepmother, Kay Davis of Calhoun, GA; sisters, Joyce Hosch, of Albertville, AL; Brenda Roberts, of Dallas, GA, Jenny Liscio, of Calhoun, GA, MIssi Gilmer, of Cartersville, GA; brothers, Kenneth E. Davis, Gary Davis, both of Douglasville, GA, Earl Wesley Davis, Jr., of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Taylor Eugene Davis, Dakota Storm Davis, Jocelyn Aline Deloya Hernandez, Veronica Echo Lake, and Alexander Lucas Lake.
