Gracie Albright Marley, 96, of Seagrove, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015, at New Center Christian Church with Pastor Jonathan Burris and Rev. Thomas Dewey Reeder officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Marley was born March 8, 1919 to the late Reddick and Betsy Albright. She was a homemaker and the oldest living member of New Center Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Marley; brothers, Emmitt, Elton, Elbert Curtis and Carlie Albright; sisters, Mary Chriscoe and Callie Owens. Mrs. Marley is survived by her son, Marvin Marley and his wife, Mary Reeder Marley of the home; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:30 -2:30 p.m., Sunday, t he church, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to New Center Christian Church, 6448 New Center Church Rd., Seagrove, NC 27341.
