Grace Yow

Grace Lois Hare Yow, 87, of Sophia, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Self officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. A native of Moore County, Mrs. Yow was the daughter of the late Numa and Nancy Hare. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Acme McCrary. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yow as preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Yow; sisters, Nellie Marsh, Rachel Hussey, Otta Hussey; brothers, Graham, James, Jesse, Fred and Wade Hare Mrs. Yow is survived by her brother, Cloves Hare; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home.
