Grace Davis Ritter

Mrs. Grace Marie Davis Ritter, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, December 6, 2013, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Garner and Rev. Danny Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Ritter was born August 9, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Shuford Davis and Mary Jarrell Davis. She was retired from Kayser-Roth after 42 years of service. She was a member of Freedom Independent Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ritter. Mrs. Ritter is survived by daughter, Darlene Underwood and husband, Melvin, of Asheboro; sister, Frances Murray, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Missy Hunt and husband, Marty, Kenneth Henderson; great grandchildren, Preston Henderson, Bailey Henderson, Matthew Hunt, Laura Hayes and husband, Michael, and great-great grandchild, Anderson Hayes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, December 9, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
