Grace Hill

Mrs. Grace Lee Jordan Hill, 90, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, February 9, 2014, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Younger officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Montgomery County, NC, Mrs. Hill was born October 16, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Carly Augustus Jordan and Nora Ella Cornelison Jordan. She was retired from Kayser-Roth and enjoyed traveling, crocheting, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hill, son, Clyde Hill, brothers, Everette Jordan, Ray Jordan, Harold Jordan, and sister, Alma Lowdermilk. Mrs. Hill is survived by her daughters, Shirley Metters, of High Point, NC, Cathy Cox, of Asheboro, NC; son, Fred Hill of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Paul Metters, of Cary, NC, Christie Courtney, of Kinston, NC, Sharon White, of Asheboro, NC, April Sapp, of Ramseur, NC, Brandy Brigman, of Asheboro, NC, Autumn Hill, of Asheboro, NC; nine great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home.
