Glenwood Alexander Cassidy

Glenwood Alexander Cassidy, 48, was born on August 1, 1972, in Randolph County. He passed at Green Valley Hospital in Greensboro, NC at 7:02 p.m. He graduated from Asheboro High School in 1991. Glenwood was all about family. He loved to have big dinners, cookouts, and birthday parties, just to be close with his family. He was also big on keeping his car spotless. He attended Connected Bridge Outreach Ministries until he was unable to attend. Glenwood was preceded in death by his loving mother, Brenda Thomas; his father, James Oscar Love; his sister, Pamela Yvette Siler; his brother, James Cassidy; and his father-in-law, Willard Peters Sr. Glenwood is survived by his loving caring and one and only true love for 30 years, his wife, Melissa Cassidy and his son, Jordan Cassidy of the home; five sisters, Vicky Autry of Asheboro, Wanda Kay Ferree of Greensboro, Sharon Steele, Jackie Love of Asheboro, and Evon Cheek of Ramseur; one brother, Rev. Johnny Covington and wife Gertrude; one sister-in-law, LeDonna Moore and husband Greg; one brother-in-law, Frank Peters, all of Asheboro; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles of which he loved all very dearly. He cherishes his special nephew, Jamar "Boss" and brother, Major Leach, for their support for many years. A special thanks to Bayada Home Care for all they did for Glenwood. Also Tammie Covington for dedicating her time to help take care of him, and Terry Siler. Glenwood will be missed by everyone that knew him.
