Glenda Duran

Mrs. Glenda Dale Duran, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, May 11, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Claudie Harrison and Rev. Tom Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Wilson Winningham and Helen Brown Winningham. Mrs. Duran had retired from Burlington Industries and had worked for Centura Bank. She also attended Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Duran is survived by her husband, Don Duran, of the home; daughters, Lisa Gardner, and husband Ted, of Asheboro, NC, Pam McClain, of Ramseur, NC, Cynthia Kearns, and husband Rodney, of Asheboro, NC, Carol Hill, and husband, Brent, of Asheboro, NC, Angela Simpson, and husband Duwayne, of Asheboro, NC; son, Jimmy Davis, and wife Vickie, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Jake Davis, Caleb Davis, Nathan Gardner, Bradly Heath, Laureen Heath, Tyler Heath, Makyla McClain, Morgan Kearns, Logan Kearns, Dylan Hill, and Ashlyn Hill; and great grandchildren, Braxtin Heath and Chandler Glidewell.
